Welcome to Collie SHS
Collie Senior High School is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment where every student can excel. Our moral purpose is to provide high-quality teaching that equips students with the skills, knowledge, and resilience needed to pursue their chosen pathways.
We emphasize three core focus areas: Curriculum and Teaching, Conditions for Learning, and Leadership. These pillars ensure that our lessons are engaging and responsive to the needs of our dynamic community.
Our commitment to inclusivity is reflected in our culturally responsive culture, with a significant Aboriginal student population that enriches our school through shared knowledge and history. We are proud to host programs such as the Clontarf Academy, Shooting Stars, Follow the Dream, and the Stephen Michael Foundation, which support all students in creating successful pathways.
The Student Services team at Collie SHS is dedicated to supporting the health and wellbeing of our students. As a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) school, we work explicitly with students to understand behavioural expectations and celebrate their successes. Our dedicated staff work closely with students and their families to meet individual goals, ensuring that every student can be the best version of themselves.
Our strong partnerships with local industry and workplaces offer students valuable real-world experiences, facilitating successful transitions into the workforce through apprenticeships and traineeships. Additionally, our collaboration with SW Regional TAFE provides senior students access to over 26 certificate courses, broadening their educational and career opportunities.
Collie Senior High School is committed to providing a fulfilling secondary education for all students in the Collie community, preparing them for a bright and successful future.
